Looks much better than I thought. I'm still not digging the break-ing up of the side blade though. It just doesn't look futuristic as when the R8 was first unveiled back in the 2007 time frame.

So Audi is not even going to offer a V8 version of the new R8. I guess this puts to rest the rumors that a Twin Turbo V8 version of the new R8 was going to come out as well. Oh well.

I had read just the V10's initially. This leaves room for some other engine configuration later.

For the better! The old V8 was never competitive enough from a performance standpoint. In fact, Audi's na V8s have never been competitive compared to their competitors.
