I guess this in Chechnya? No surprise there, almost all of those Russian countries you can drive like a maniac and get away with it.
The funny thing about this video is that here in America, I swear that this is how Honda Civic, Mazda CR-V, and Toyota 4Runner drivers drive on the highway. Well maybe not these cars in particular but pretty much any car that is not a performance car. They all think they are driving M4's, I swear. I'm thinking I should pull footage off of my Dash Camera just to prove it. Even today I had to deal with idiots on the highway driving like in the video above and I have to restrain my self from using all of my 700hp and taking the M5 up to 150mph just to get away from them.

Sorry dude, yes I have an M5 as well which can be driven hard and fast under appropriate conditions....By the way, lots of people on this forum have M5s which can also be driven hard and fast under appropriate conditions but...........
If you passed me on any public road driving like that when my wife and son are in my car, im afraid I would be straight on the phone to the police and if I happened to get the opportunity to speak with you, I would tell you exactly what I thought of you or worse let me ask you a question...What do you think would happen if you lost control of your car? had a puncture? or someone came into your lane at the last minute? Dont think I need to say it here but im sure you can all guess what I think of this person |

Not cool at all.
And we wonder why the world hates BMW drivers. This. Doesn't everyone there pack AKs and hate the world already? Bad place for road rage.

Too dangerous for me- If the speed was reduced when passing close to other cars it would be more acceptable.
Though saying that, I don't condone the use of foul / abusive language and ppl wishing the driver to crash and die - that's just immature. |

Wow that was a really intelligent comment.
Actually you could argue the speed in itself isn't an issue, take the autobahn for example - cars regularly hit 150+mph. What makes this video dangerous is the setting / other road users. People really don't know how to drive in the correct lanes in most countries. If the general public understood the meaning of lane discipline like the good folk of Germany, there wouldn't be a need to cut in and out of traffic like that. |

Speed is not an issue but this driving is being a maniac on the road and it's an accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately, this idiot is going to take out some unsuspecting driver (and others) with him.

The driving style (cutting in and out of traffic) wouldn't be so dangerous at lower speed. Undertaking is necessary when there are brainless lane hogging drivers all doing the same speed in all 4 lanes effectively acting as a blockade to cars wanting to overtake. Do you even understand what lane discipline is? Like the concept of slower cars keeping to the right? Last edited by IshR; 07-18-2015 at 06:08 AM.. |
