Nurburgring under 10 minutes? Easy? Medium? Difficult?
I've been looking at various vids of sub-10 Nurburgring. Does that mean that it isn't difficult for a normal driver to achieve a sub-10 time?
From the vids I've seen, anything from a BMW 530d to a Peugeot 106 GTI to a Citroen 1.6 Diesel all the way to a tin can 60 HP car (though really stripped down) can go under the 10:00 mark. Even someone like Jeremy Clarkson got it under 10 with an Jaguar S Type Diesel 2.7 Also: Does that mean that even heavy luxo barges like the BMW 760Li, MB S65 AMG and Jaguar XJR LWB can easily finish a Bridge to Gantry run in under 10 mins.? Anything that has some quickness, meaning acceleration (power/torque) or the ability to carry speed through corners (handling) can do BTG in under 10 minutes. I found 8:45-ish to be an easy repeatable time in the E92 M3. A little wetness or traffic and you can lose 30 seconds or more.

On my first ever lap I did it in just over 10 minutes. And I wasn't really pushing, never had any tire squeal in any corner and had plenty of safety margin everywhere

Sabine Schmitz can drive a 10 year old Transit van round in under 10 mins!
