BR Performance Tune feedback

Hi dear friends of the forum,

Is there anyone who has the BR Performance tune (http://www.br-performance.fr)?

Is this a real flash or piggyback solution?

I so, is it any good? No issues? Are you happy with the results and customer support?

Thank you all for your help and feedback!

Its a tune. It will require you to send your DME to their shop to get it loaded.

MCarsFan has a thread on BR Tune ...
http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1086187

I know on the Stage 1 it has netted great results on a stock platform. I know MCarsFan personally and his Stage 1 BR Tune pulls HARD!! He has had no issues whatsoever. Again, this is on a stock platform with RPI exhaust. I believe once you add downpipes is where some people had issues.

Been a good tune for me personally. Can't complain.

I tryed that software on a several cars and I had issues. Misfires, twerking, etc.

After trying another software in the same cars I realized the difference. This is my own experience. Maybe somebody have no issues but not me and my friends..

Yup that's the feedback I have too, Stage 1 rocks, stage 2 not so much. Since i'm going to keep my car stock (this is my daily driver and family car, I don't want a smelly civic without cats, this is an executive car after all). For performance buy a 675lt. It blows everything out there with a few exceptions....

But as a member of the forum pointed out many of the Stage 2 customers had already many miles/km with various piggybacks and crappy solutions so when they flashed their cars with the BR tune the cars were already screwed up eheh.

Can we prove this? No but it makes sense since the real flash tunes came to the market in the beginning of the year (2015) and these cars had other solutions since the cars came out 2011,2012.....

Someone also told me that Eurocharged tune was the real deal and I found out that their tune is actually a detuned BR tune ahah

Go figure.....Like Conor Mcgregor said:

" this game (in this case the tuning game) is full of amateurs and has beens"

Have you considered MSR Stage 1 Tune?

BR Stage 1 is a beast. EuroCharged is a detuned BR Tune. I think you are better off sticking with a Stage 1 BR Tune. I tell you this only because I have personally driven both and the Stage 1 BR Tune is no joke. If you are staying stock, you will love it.

Hey 13M5F10

Its just like you said, BR are the guys who cracked the real tune for the first time. At the moment the only two companies that seam to know what they are doing is BR and BPM (Mike Benvo). If BPM can crack the OBD II tune by internet they will be the first ones to do so. This is what im talking about. Innovation! BR on the other way can tune everyting that moves. Mclaren, Ferrari (let them get their hands on a 488 and you will see....) the works.

So since I live in Switzerland I will make a road trip to Belgium, tune the car (working with them directly so the lines are perfect) and get to know the country.

It should be there in January/February. Besides now is winter season (and tires) so I cant really benefit from the extra Power and Torque....

Awesome ... BR would be the way to go then especially since they are there in Europe. Makes things easier when you have issues.

What mods are you running?
If you're looking for a simple stage 1 tune gains are not high as the file they generate is not that special. Going for stage 2 needs atleast downpipes and 2 other "secret" items that makes your car runs nice with no misfire etc

Still holding out hope that Benvo will crack the OBDII version soon!

OBD is already out there, you simply need to read passwords via bootmode.
Someone should spend a week on how to read passwords via OBD, that is more interesting!

Yes, me too, running RPi GTM exhaust for a few months and the stage I tune since January, no issues, considering downpipes, want to keep the same tune though..
