M235 (DP,Tune,Exhaust) vs BMW Stage 1 M5

Got approached by a friend stating his M235 with unknown mods but definitely DP/Tune?Exhaust could full on my Stage 1 M5. Is this even humanly possible? I know he doesn't have upgraded turbos so thats the only way I imagine he could pull me. I will meet up with him tonight (on a private track of course) and see what happens. Any predictions?

I would think if he has stock turbo you would still walk him. What tune do you have?

I have driven my friend's M235 and am telling you there is noway M235 can get even close to stock M5/M6... we are talking about over 1 second difference in 0-60 mph

If he has turbo upgrades and is running 25psi+ It will be a close race, but it would really have to be one that is fully decked out running e85/methanol or some other high octane fuel given the boost...

I don't think that's quite accurate. My stock M135 hits 60 in 4.3secs. Not sure stock m5/6 does it in 3.3...

LOL... And I am not sure if M135 hits 60 in 4.3 second... at least my friend's M235 could not... I did hit 60 with his car in 4.7 second and with my car in 3.6 second.

Went out to line up Friday night and someone didn't have a front plate and that was the end of that. Will try to meet up sometime this week. Took him for a ride in my car, he says his car pulls similarly. I'm not sure I buy it, I destroy my buddies E92 and isn't the M235 similar to that stock?

Don't know.. But based on my videos and my stop and go feature on iPhone is saw low 7s for the M.

The hurricane is a beast easily high 6s

That's pretty ridiculous seeing DragTimes tested the Hurican and got results from 7.69 to 8.4. These cars are beasts. She's a kid hauling rocket ship if you ask me.

Stock turbo you should walk him, id say 2-3 links 40-140. Be careful though, I have ran my friend who is F10 M5 FBO full tune and my N55 135i with Pure 2 turbo PI and e85 takes him by a link 40-140 every time. I am MT and he is DCT. M5's are beasts and he is putting down 50-75 more WHP than I am, but dont under estimate the effects of a half tonne more a** to haul.

Hey guys so as you may have predicted it was a slaughter. He's getting upgraded turbos so that may change the game. If he beats me, I think I will feel obligated to get Pure Turbos. I'll try to get a video next time.
