Targeted Torque/Boost Between Competition Pack and Non Comp Pack M5's
Just thought you guys might be interested in seeing the difference between the requested torque the competition package software calls for in comparison to the non competition package software. We can easily convert any non competition package M5 into competition package power, but obviously you'll get a ton more power with a proper software flash.
You can see from the graph that the non-competition package takes a steep decline about 250 RPM before the comp pack, and runs less boost from there and up to redline. On the left axis is newton meters of torque (crank) and the bottom axis is RPM. Have a look: |
