Looking at 2014 M5 comp pack with 29k miles
As title states, it's at a non BMW dealer. Warranty looks like is going to end 12/2018 but with my driving routine I will hit the mileage in a year and 3 months. The listing price is 69k. I gotta factor in additional cost of extended warranty.
It comes loaded with the usual package including competition package; comes with executive package, led headlights, drivers assist, Shakir orange seats (not full leather). Oh it doesn't come with the 6 spokes competition package wheels What's a fair offer to give him? Is 63k too low? |

Well, went to test drive the said car above and was a bit disappointed. Not the M5 as a whole but with this particular car. The car sounded great but the CEL was on and the exhaust fumes smelled as if has catless dp. The car didn't pull as hard as I thought I would/should.
What was disappointing was the car didn't downshift when I demanded it, had to go about 80% throttle pressed down until it downshifts. And this was on sport plus. The search continue... |

Understood. I wanted to see what the car can do on a normal basis. I did pull the paddle and it shifted but it hesitated a bit. Which really made me feel there is something off with the car.
