Waze BMW Integration

Im reaching out to see if anyone can provide some guidance as to the best way to integrate Waze on a 2015 M5 via iphone 6 Plus.

I'm having all sorts of issues with the sound and I'm not sure what is the best way to use the app; I've got firends that swear by it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Integrate as in show the display on your I-drive? I don't believe that's possible. When your phone is connected via Bluetooth, the voice guidance can be directed to your speakers, but the display will still be on your phone. I do this all the time when watching / listening to streamed sporting events. I place my phone in a holder and stream the audio through Bluetooth.

Thanks for the response. I was looking to see if it was possible to display in the I-drive. I've been utilizing it via BT and now have the voice guidance working so thanks for the help.

You have only one solution if you really want it,
There is little device which connects behind iDrive and it will allow you connect HDMI, than you can connect apple tv to it and mirror your phone into your idrive thru apple tv.

Should be easy, i know someone who sells that hdmi kit for idrive if interested.

This is how I integrate Waze with the M5.

I actually prefer setting Waze to not use the Bluetooth (there is a flag in waze) so that if I am listening to a different device I still get my "police spotted ahead" alert.

I honestly didn't even attempt it. I'm using the App via BT for sound and viewing on my iPhone.
