She's back in for Bootmod3 and more power! Absolutely loving the AWRON vent gauge! Electric cutouts are so much fun. I know i said bootmod3 would be on the car sooner but I just LOVE driving this car

Im also selling my set of Forgeline GA1R wheels with centerlock conversion soon. Time for a new set. I'll eventually post in the classifieds section but for now... you heard it here first.

What offset change does the centre lock conversion provide? I assume it would allow me to buy Porsche centre lock wheels, ie 20x12 BBS FI-R's

Im not 100% sure but the centerlock conversion adds like 10mm. The specs i was given was +25 for the front and +28 in the rear. Im guessing that number was measured with the centerlock adapters attached to the back of the rim. I would contact forgeline about their centerlock adapter. I know they do make wheels for porsche centerlock. Wether they copied the specs to a tee i don't know.

That is interesting, the part that the 5 studs bolt into looks like about 6mm worth of spacer, but the wheel can't sit on that because the studs stick out proud of the spacer, so the wheel must sit on the centrelock part only at the end of the thread? That would make it about a 20mm spacer assuming they are still measuring the centrelock offset from the point that the rim face stops.

Whenever i daily drive it i can keep it out of boost if i keep it under 2500 rpms. If not the turbos start to spool hard and shit gets serious quick. At wanna go fast we were having traction issues so we didnt use launch control. But with the 19" rears and drag radials we should see a little bit better results. We should be back at wannagofast for Ocala FL for another attempt with a new set up under the hood |
