This is actually a very very good find. This video shows more than what BMW posted on their Main Twitter account a couple of days ago.

In this video if you slowly scroll through it frame by frame you can see a lot more details of the car that the other video does not show.

Main things to be seen clearly here are:

1. Side view mirrors clearly seen. F80 M3-ish design confirmed. Side view mirrors also confirm that side signaling lights will remain to be located on the mirrors.

2. A lot more detail on the rear diffuser area. You can clearly make out how the rear lower bumper area is designed. It looks like the tail pipes will have a slant to them just like the F80 M3 stock exhaust has. The tail pipes also look small, like around 80mm just like the F10's.

3. The front bumper you can clearly see as well. Looks pretty spot on to what was leaked in the CAD images a while back.

4. It looks as if this Launch Edition F90 M5 will come with a standard blacked out gloss front grille as well as the special maroon color that was mentioned before.

The general manager at our BMW dealership here in the Dominican Republic said he was in Germany a month ago, and the new M5 was unveiled to a select few. He told me that the color was just horrible. I think only 400 will be made with this "special" matte maroon. He told me it was a truly stunning black leather interior. He also told me the car sounds like crap. No aggressive exhaust note. He kept talking about that horrible exterior color.

Reminds me of Indianapolis Red, one of the worst ///M colors in BMW history. Lol!

Yes it's the AWD LCI F10 they should have launched in 2014 when Benz went to an AWD LCI W212 E63S.

Except it doesn't have a comp package, and it has a quiet exhaust.

Even if the color is cool I wouldn't buy the first edition knowing BMW will soon come out with even faster version.

The F90 is little more than an F10 LCI IMO; agreed on the 1st year but more so because of the first year issues that plagued the 13's and not the availability of ZCP.

Don't know it it's also been confirmed but apparently not DCT? Supposedly it's the 8-speed slushbox. Wonder if software will really make it shift as fast as a true DCT

totally agree, I've had three M5's, and loved them all, but this one is just a refresh of the F10, nothing to get too excited about, unless i can steal one too i don't mind overpaying for a e63s
