Anyone got any tips of fixing carbon splitter
Came across a very large speed bump and basically got a nice big crack right in the middle of my RKP splitter
Ive look at a few online videos and the way forward seems to be resin, together with wet dry sanding...Any other ideas? |

After you take it off what you want to do is strengthen it from behind by glueing a fibreglass card and your resin then smudge of filler.its elbow work getting it smooth with a selection of sand paper then blending in the colour depending on what paint finish it is.
The Environment Secretary has advised councils to start removing speed humps to cut down on pollution but so far councils appear to have a hearing problem. |

Although it is possible to repair, I'd suggest a local body shop the works with carbon fiber. I've seen some shops able to repair/patch damaged carbon. |
