Bought the special tool and followed the advice and it took 15 seconds to remove each one. A lot better than the way others say

Where can you buy this tool? My dealer says they dont have it any kind like it.

I used a very small plastic trim tool and they came out no problem. Onextra is correct. IND's method is wrong.

This is the only place online I've found it for sale. I was debating buying it, however I looked at the design of the tool and the installation diagram and it seems that one can substitute any other similar looking tool. I think I will follow the installation diagram and use a tool I already have which looks similar.

Thats the tools I bought, to be fair you only need one but they sell them in pairs. I got mine from BMW

The part number on the pack is 83 30 0 493 681

This tool is a game changer. Not sure if I'm ever going to reuse it, however, it took me all of 5 minutes to get this DIY complete.

I thought the same when two arrived, better than scratching the paint and snapping clips though, also a lot less stressful.
