I use a Cetek MUS 4.3 as well. You can use the Normal battery program for most AGM batteries, just as well. In the Cetek MUS 4.3, the only difference between the Normal battery program and the Cold weather program (that also has an Optima AGM battery icon next to it,) is that it charges at 14.4V vs. 14.7V; they both charge at 4.3A.

Why are you allconnecting the battery maintainer under the bonnet and not direct to battery?

In my C6 Z06 Corvette, it was actually designed to be charged either at the remote terminals under the hood or the 12V socket in the dash, but most vehicles are not designed this way (hot 12V socket,) and this is usually not what you want to do; BMW manual specifically says not to do this in our vehicles.
