When cars are tuned, the one step colder plug can help with detonation, cylinder temps and things of that nature.

The iridium is a harder material and doesn't deteriorate as quickly. The OEM's are iridium

Are these BOSCH iridium? I am not that savvy with maintenance but is it true that if the plugs are iridium, I would not need to change them for at least 50k miles?
