Trying to modify my side markers

Good morning all - I would like to alter the bulb, lighting strip, or whatever sits inside the chrome mini grille between the front tire and the front door. Has anyone tried this? Is it possible? Anyone have experience trying this? If a pic is needed, please advise - my description is lousy

Was about to order CF sides...might give this a try first. Might you have a link for the CF wrap you used? Never wrapped CF before...any problems like around the corners?

As for the corners, not really. Just cut close to it and tuck the wrap behind the trim. You'll want to use a heat gun.

Besides the CF wrap you did, what did you do to tint the light? Also, how did you approach painting the mesh?

They look great BTW.

Thanks. I used VHT Nite-Shades for the lights. Dupli-Color Perfect Match in Electron Blue Pearl (closest match to the calipers that I could find at O'Reilly's) and some tedious masking for the mesh.

I hope they hold up. Only time will tell.

Have a Sing' grey one also and looking at those carboned side grille surrounds looks like a great match,so going to do mine!
