MAP Extended Warranty

So I purchased my first m5 about 8 months ago and love the car. It was a 2013 with 42k miles and only 2 owners. I went back and forth on the extended warranty because it was 5k but decided since it was my first M car I would do it for the peace of mind. Have had a few warranty items approved already when it was in the shop for spark plugs and oil change that total up to about 2k, then I recently took it in because the ac stop blowing cold. Service advisor said it was the AC condenser but the warranty company would need to send an inspector out to look at the car. Of course I was like, here we go, they are going to deny my claim... but to my surprise, not only did they approve it, but the inspector noticed an oil leak on my oil pan and they approved that work as well. BMWs cost to me would have been 5k for the 2 fixes, 2k for the AC and 3k for the oil pan seals and a few other things. If you are in the market for an extended warranty I would highly recommend MAP.

Thanks for the info! My fidelity warranty ends this August so I might have to look into this.

Agreed, one thing I will mention is this is sold by dealers only, and require a full inspection of the car before they will sale the warranty. I did not buy my car from a dealer, but had them do the inspection and sale me the warranty at the same time I was buying from a 3rd party.

Eduardo is my service advisor, very easy to work with, and they provide a loaner car free of charge.

Another plus, most BMW dealers in Houston would not do a pre-purchase inspection, but because of the warranty they had to.

I have MAP on mine - highly recommend thus far. My local dealer group that has Audi, Porsche, Aston, Bentley etc uses MAP at all their dealers with great results.
