New M5 Owner Here
Hey all!
Picked up this 2013 M5 a few days ago. Always wanted an M5 (I’m a mustang guy at heart, but I do have an appreciation for the other brands, just a car guy in general). I looked for a while at many M5s, once I saw this one I had to have it, maintenance records were good, and the previous 2 owners seemed to just leisurely drive it. I’m pretty stoked about it, such a great drive. The shifts are unbelievably smooth. Bought it drive when I move to Germany in a few months! (Hope the pictures work) Any advice about the M5s you all can send my way is appreciated! |

Congrats on the purchase!
Those tires look pretty skinny. Are they 265/35 F and 295/30 R? Those would be factory specs. Watch out for AC condenser failure and coil packs/plugs going out also. Those two are what most owners encounter. |

As far as the AC condenser I wasn’t aware of that issue, but I appreciate the heads up. The spark plugs were replaced as stated in the maintenance records as well as the sensor module that placed certain M5s into that no power mode. |

I like the interior, very nice! Congrats! Two things I did to my car right away:
1) exterior detail with clay barring, polish with Menzera 4500, ceramic coat with Mothers CMX. It looks like glass! 2) interior detail with Nextzett cockpit premium, leather clean and condition with Lexol. With it cosmetically 'baselined' it's easy to keep it looking great.

Welcome! Love the colour of the leather.
Just an observation but what did the previous owner do to the front passenger seat?

Thank! I’m not really sure what you mean by what the previous owner did to the front seat? If you could elaborate more? I’m very new to these cars lol

The seats look like they have had sharp objects placed on them....which have left indentations.
