White smoke when coming to stop.

Hey guys, anyone catless have white smoke come out when pulling up to light.
I don't have the issue at all when driving or on the gas. Just when pulling up to a light.

I do use torco full time. Im pretty sure when I just ran just 91 I didn't get this issue at all.
But I have to retest.

Thoughts?

Btw car stats in sig miles are just over 3500
Also trip to work is 4 miles, drive to work, Park sits all day then start and go home.

Maybe just condensation... But I don't get it at idle, and I almost never see it on way to work. Just on my way home. Same distance. Weird.

At only 4 miles are you even up to operating temperature? Mine takes a while to get to operating temp, I'm thinking 15 mins or so depending on the temp and speed.

Good point. When I get home and when I get to work the temp needle almost never moves.

I just went out with my brother. I didn't see nearly as much smoke. Only the 1st stop nothing like the stops on my way home.
Only a Lil bit of smoke. And by the time the drive was over 10 miles there was no smoke.

So I'm thinking all the condensation from the morning drive, stay in pipe and on my way home when the pipes heat up, that's where I figure I'm getting the extra smoke.

Oil smoke and condensation are 2 different things.
Do you burn any engine oil ?
How long have you been running catless and how long do you run Torcu ?
Are you running any performance tune or piggy back ?

MY oil level is at max haven't done a oil change since my car got its 1k service.

Been running catless for a year now.

If I was burning oil I'd see it all the time wouldn't I? Pretty sure thats the case.

I just went out and once the needle moved on temp I didn't get any smoke..

If you're oil level is fine and you haven't added any since your break in, I'd say you're fine.

Get it up to temp and do some wot passes and clean that motor out!! Probably just cobwebs! Lol

Your suppose to let that B*tch warm her jelly up. Lol. Never drive a car that the needle is not fully ready. Usually what i do. As soon as i wake up, pull her out start her and go back in the house. And by the time im done about 20mins or so. Car is already warmed up and good to go.

It can be that your car is not properly getting the right driving temp and sometimes seals injectors can actually get harmed by not driving the car longer.

That usually happens to exotic garage queens also

How many times do you get white smoke ?
I am just trying to clarify if you are seeing condensation during warm up and the cooler weather or if your actually seeing a colored smoke ?
Blue and white smoke are different and you would be able to smell engine oil if it was blue

Gotcha. Well it's white. It smells like all catless cars smell.

When car is warmed up doesn't seem to do it at all.
I really think it's just extra condensation from the morning drive and by the time I get to work the water just sits in the pipes, so on my way home it's just burning off.

That's not a good thing to do. It's best to start and drive easy until it's warmed. This way the diff, transmission, tires all get warmed up.

Yours had smoke upon decel on the dyno as well and that's after warm up. It's not vapor.

I think it's turbo seals.

Best way to test is to stop using it and run some 100-octane mix instead for a while. It's interesting if Torco produces smoke.

Im going to do a 50 / 50 mix where you get ur gas from for a few fill ups and see what happens.

I do notice the smoke getting more noticeable when my tank is running lower, by that time the torco mix will be sitting in my tank for 2 weeks or so. This last tank has been in for nearly a month because I did go out on vacation for a week.

So maybe the torco after all causes this especially if you are not driving enough.

who knows.

This is not good practice, the car takes much longer to warm up so stays on enrichment for longer, this can cause pistons, bores etc and will wash your oil. Best to start and go, drive gentle and let it warm that way.

Your gear box, brakes and tyres will be cold as well...

Any of those additives really aren't good for your engine long term. They have MMT in them and it leaves these copper colored deposits on the valves and pistons and everything
it. It fucks up sensors and sticks to the metal throughout the engine. Nasty shit

Just run REAL race gas instead of trying to cheat with booster.

Torco only adds maybe 1-2pts octane pts. btw. Not that 11-14 pts you may see.

100% correct. Never let the car sit and warm up. Wait 20-30 seconds after starting, then drive gently until everything is warm.

I run a 91 (75%) and E85 (25%) mix. Octane is approx 94.5-95 when combined.
I'm stock except M Performance exhaust and charcoal delete, it runs like a raped ape!!
