F10 m5 rear diff.....common problem?

Hi

I've checked the mot history on 3 cars (1 x 14 plate and 2 x 15 plate) and all have shown rear diff wet/oil leak.
I spoke to a dealership to see if the diff had been fixed on one of them I was interested in and it was replace under warranty. All cars had between 30k and 50k on them. Is the diff a cause for concern?

I reckon it must be a common(ish) issue as when my car was last in for a service the tech sent me a walk-around video while it was on the lift and made a particular point of stating that the diff was dry and no sign of any leaks or problems!!
