Driveshaft Upgrade

When installing a new clutch is it necessary to remove the driveshaft? Asking to see if its possible to eliminate the labor for upgrading to a carbon fiber driveshaft by killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

You have to pull the transmission so yes, you need to drop the driveshaft

I started getting what felt like a clutch slip without the clutch actually slipping. My shop inspected the DCT and driveshaft and found a considerable amount of play in the driveshaft. Was already planning on upgrading to SSP so will add the driveshaft at the same time now.
