Catalyser thieves around

A neighbour had their cat cut off their 3 series during the night. Can't happen from underneath with an M5 obviously so watch out for your second cars if parked outside.

As the pandemic continues it is bound to get worse, an obvious answer I would have thought is to put pressure on scrap merchants to be more accountable for the metals they receive especially those with valuable content and make buying catalysers without a contact illegal.
That's what council officers should do.

Also lots of M -Sport Steering wheels being stolen too, really cant win, but a Corsa and someone nick the front end off of it

Yeah, same round here - we use steering locks on ours just as an additional deterent!
