Guess the depreciation!!
On average, cars do most of their depreciating in the first 3 years, then tend to flatten out after about 8 years.
M Cars seem to follow the trend, but its a little different with these specialist beasts! Do we think the F10 M5 has hit a stable price (a nice low-ish mileage example for around £23-25k in the UK) or will they continue to fall in value? We're seeing some nice examples of e39 M5s going for similar money these days. Is it too early for the F10 M5 to start to appreciate like a 'classic' does? What do we think the future holds for the value of our cars? All purely speculative of course! |

I believe that they will continue to fall in price. As more units start getting closer to 100k, as people modify more cars and get into fender benders, rebuilt titles, etc., they will be offloaded for little money. I think that maybe with the generation that replaces the F90, and depending on how much the electric vehicle agenda gets pushed, maybe the prices will level up around $18-25K for a clean titled, maintenance happy unit.
