Had my first M5 for a day and...
Just picked up my first M5 — a 2013, single-owner with a clean Carfax. Cool part is, it was originally purchased from the same dealership I bought it from (BMW of Fairfax).
The car had to be shipped up from Virginia, and I finally received it on Monday. Took it out for a spin Tuesday and… boom — major issues. No limp mode, just full-on stalling. Had to get it towed to my local BMW dealer, and wow… those repair costs add up fast. Good news is the selling dealer is stepping up. They offered a full refund if they can’t fix it. They’re shipping the car back to their service department in VA to dig into the issue and see how bad it really is. Fingers crossed it’s not catastrophic. Looking forward to sticking around here and (hopefully) getting back behind the wheel soon |

They are concerned about internal damage. Concerns are the excess fuel washed out the oil in the cylinders.
Hopefully not the case, would like to keep the vehicle but shout out to Rick @ BMW of Fairfax. Taking responsibility and doing the right thing. |

Hope no one was racing the rap out of it in between the sale and delivery to the buyer, such a coincidence it happened right now. When the sale shop owner goes home the guys may have had a little fun with it, unfortunately it happens.
