F10 535 water pump stays running

So I recently had an issue with my car overheating. I changed the thermostat and water pump. It seems to have fixed that issue, but now even with the car off and locked (no matter how long) the cars water pump keeps coming on and off likes it’s permanently stuck in the bleeding mode. The same one you do when you refill the system…. Has anyone had this happen? If so please help!

Then there's probably an air pocket and it has to be bled again as these systems can only be re-filled with coolant by vacuum pump, on the M5 anyway.

I’ve heard the initial should take about 8-14 minutes. When I did it, I was at 40 minutes, and still going. I went for a little drive hoping that might some how help. It didn’t. It still continued to turn off and on. I ended up just disconnecting the negative battery terminal, and that’s where it’s currently at…. I’ll try the bleeding process again and see what happens 🤷🏻‍♂️
