Driving in GB in the sixties
A blast from the past with what looked like stress free driving in a Jaguar saloon then with usually little traffic.

Love the Jag Mk 2. I had a Series III XJ6 and spent a fun period in the Jag enthusiasts' world and became familiar with the entire Jag model lineup until X300.
Biscuit Connolly leather, inboard rear calipers, the leaper on the hood! Good tradition. XKSS is one of the greatest cars of all time imo. |

I drove a BRG 3.8 mk2 manual at one time for a short while, the 4 wheel disc brakes were good until it was time to change the rears which required a lot of dismantling. 220 bhp from this 6 cylinder made it the perfect villains car in the sixties to escape cops and there were a few films that portrayed this, notable one being Robbery. |
