Have today received notification from BMW UK to have drivers side air bag inspected by BMW service to see if it may need to be replaced due to risk of sudden deployment.

Mine was replaced today being in for a coolant leak fix which needed the engine coolant to be drained and pressure refilled after replacing a faulty turbo return pipe which was spraying coolant out, thankfully missing the alternator openings.
