Installed a Dinan carbon fiber intake, a set of AMS catless downpipes, new ignition coils, new spark plugs, new o2 sensors and flashed the stage 1 93 octane tune from Bootmod3.

Part one of four: pulling wheels to clean and seal them, clean suspension and wheel wells.

My first "mod". I got the Monaco Motorsports black kidney grilles. Ordered them a couple of weeks ago, and they arrived last night. All in all, I give the product a 9/10. Reason for not giving it a perfect score? The M5 badge that came with it was a cheap plastic clip, that I was able to take off rather easily. The word "stolen" comes to mind if I left the M badge on. The fitment itself is a 9/10; the gaps between the grilles and the bumper are not uniform. However, since my car is black, it is VERY hard to see those imperfections. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

The weekend madness with wheel removal, wheel well and suspension cleaning, wheel cleaning and ceramic coating has come to a close and thought I'd share a few pics I took of the engineered bits on our cars. No surprise, the brake and suspension pieces are works of art and deserve a close look. Thought I'd try for some composed shots with these. In one or two of these you can play 'count the ///Ms.' I didn't realize the front calipers were made by Brembo nor the rears made by TRW. Hope everyone here is having a happy and healthy season!

Today I gave the M5 a nice bath and then took the time to make a little video showcasing the new exhaust set up.
