If you looking on the BBS website , they don't make FI anymore so they will push you to FI-R. Rear most likely will need spacers, based on my research in order for you to get that flush look. Otherwise those will sit just like the stock wheels. If you are lowered with negative front wheel camber, you should be able to fit ET22, however with the stock suspension, my guess would be that you will rub on the fender. If you look for FI-R used, best place would be the F80/F82 M3/M4 Wheels for sale forum. Those are one of the favorite wheels there and come for sale often.

How much negative camber can we get with stock set up? I am on KW HAS and Dinan sway bars now, but not slammed, roads suck in RI lol. Would the front require the spacer as well?

I did do a check on Will They Fit.com and see that with no spacer ET+22 will poke a bit from the factory setup.

Transferred everything over from the old charge coolers to the new ones and added new throttle body to charge cooler gaskets just to be safe. Now all that's left is squeezing them back into place. All the hardware included with the new charge coolers seems to be really high quality. Noticeably larger than the OEM coolers as well.

Since the M5 is not my daily driver, I have been able to break up this charge cooler upgrade into stages, which has made the process a lot more enjoyable. After taking a dedicated day for the removal of the OEM coolers, and another day to get all the hardware moved over to the CSF coolers, the last part was installing the new goodies (and trying not to scratch or break anything).
Installation was extremely straightforward and the CSF coolers, despite being larger, fit perfectly. The throttle bodies slipped right into the awaiting couplers and the BMS charge pipes fit perfectly onto the other end. My best friend was silicone spray to help with maneuvering the piping within the couplers to get everything lined up properly. I had hopes of installing the new RPS t-bolt clamps throughout the entire engine bay, but there simply wasn't enough room to install a t-bolt style clamp on the coupler that attached the charge pipe to the turbo snout, so I went with mirror imaged worm clamps on those couplers. I was able to fit the blackout t-bolt clamps on the intake tubes and the coupler that connects the charge pipes to the CSF coolers and that did make a huge difference in looks. This completed look is what I've been dreaming of having in the M5's engine bay since I bought it. |

Looks awesome!
Were you able to source the turbo coolant line clamp separately or did that come with the BMS charge pipes? This is the last item I need to wrap up my install.

Awesome looking engine bay. If you do data log, please share your thoughts on the efficacy of the CSF intercoolers once you've done some runs

Has someone actually made proper charge pipes?
All aftermarket ones ive seem have wrong geometry As both sides are different but they make only 1 type and use for both sides which results in couplings pulling and not sitting right and hose clamps not sitting correct Id be very suprised if they are actually made properly and would love to see top mount pic of charge pipes |

This whole problem seems to be remedied in the F90 where the charge pipe is built into the charge cooler -- wish this was the case for the F10. I wonder if CSF ever considered building some type of charge cooler + integrated charge pipe setup; that would have been really slick. |

Added a new stable mate for the F10 M5 so I don't have to drive it every day -- picked up a 6MT 2015 BMW M3. I've already added a few minor mods. You can follow the build thread here:

Great updates to your build and congrats on the F80! Looks like you are having a lot of fun over there
I have been very happy with the BBS FI wheels, they are a perfect choice for the F10 M5

Where were you able to find a carbon fiber engine cover? They have been out of manufacture for a while. Yours looks great!

But the F80 has been keeping me occupied recently, trying to get that one dialed in now! Thank you on that, it has been a journey to get it looking like this. If you scroll back to the beginning of this build thread, I picked up an AFE matte carbon engine cover. It never matched the glossy carbon Dinan intakes, so I ended up giving it a 2 stage polish and it now matches the Dinan intakes very closely. |

The weather in North Carolina has been warming up recently, so had a chance to get the M5 outside and cleaned up a bit with the new wheels/tires. I also added a front carbon lip, side skirts, and removed the rear wing. I love where the car is right now.
I also have mounted a set of Michelin PS4S 265/30/20 and 295/30/20 on the old BBS CH-R wheels, removed the polished curb protection ring, and they will be going on the F80 M3. |
