F10 M5 Trunk Badge Sticker
Hi all, I just recently swapped my 2013 RS5 for a space gray 2014 M5 (yay!)
The rear trunk lid badge on the car is in good shape other than that the tri color sticker has partially peeled off. I'm scouring the interwebs and all I've found is ebay selling E60 stickers for about $10 with shipping but I don't know if those will fit the F10 badge. Does any know if they are identical? I know you can buy an entirely new trunk badge from BMW for about $50 (BMW parts said they don't sell just the sticker) but I'd rather avoid even taking the risk of pulling the original badge off and the new one being installed slightly off. Or if someone knows of another source for the F10 badge sticker, it would be appreciated Thanks. |

Welcome and Congratz! Sounds like its time to upgrade it. I'd personally get the blacked out one from IND https://ind-distribution.com/collect...d-trunk-emblem
Also IND has listed instructions for how to replace the emblem: https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=743208 PS I got some parts for sale if you're interested. Thanks! https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1772603 Last edited by Ickdeep; 11-23-2020 at 11:11 AM.. Reason: added DIY guide link |

Hi Folks,
I just bought a 2016 F10 M5 in Sapphire Black. The vehicle is missing its rear bootlid 'M5' decal. I have the OEM replacement badge but, given that the vehicle is missing its original nameplate, I do not have a guide to mark-out the correct position using tape. I have searched high and low but, the only information readily available is 'How to…' replace an existing badge. No data exists detailing the number of mm the badge should be from the right edge of the bootlid or how far above the lower edge above the license plate it should be. I am also unable to find a local vehicle to measure it! If anyone could take accurate distances from their machine, it would be greatly appreciated. Or, if anyone has BMW info on it, that would be great. Ideally, this is the type of info I'm after: https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=22838742 Hopefully someone can help.. Thanks in advance.
