I just bought Dinan sway bars and ordered KW V3 coilover. Have not installed them yet. Maybe in 1-2 weeks. Hope they are worth the money.

I ran Dinan sways front and rear on a stock suspension for a while. They made a huge difference in body roll. Best bang for the buck! The only minor downside is they added a little more weight to the feel of the steering wheel. I run the steering wheel in comfort mode as I believe the other modes to be way too heavy.
Recently I decided to spend the money and add the Dinan springs/coilovers to the sway setup. Steering feel surprisingly reverted back to the original feel (which I prefer). The ride is the same or better yet I do feel the car handles better in all aspects from body roll (even less), to squat and dive, to less suspension float, etc. Either mod is well worth it, but combined they are night and day versus stock. |

I lowered it to factory competition package height. I think that was 10mm front and rear. No issue bottoming out. I do think you need to be a little more careful, but it is worth it.

Dinan recommends .75 inches, which is around 19mm. This is more than the comp pack from what I'm reading. I am thinking of going for the .75 inches and hope it is not too low for daily driving. I also noticed that stock their is a bigger gap in the front wheel arches than in the back. I want the gaps to be even after lowering.

Is that to the top of the fender or lower part?

I had never seen this measurement posted, for either an M5 with CP or without, so I measured mine. I have a stock 2013 M5 with 275/35-20 front and 305/30-20 rear Michelin PSS tires. I have 28 1/16" from the bottom of the fender well directly over the center of the wheel, to the ground for both front and rear. I think I will like a drop of about 3/4" from what I have now when I do lower the car, both front and rear.
