Coded Brake Force
there were some previous post that brake force coding by itself worked properly without DRL rear foglights.
This is incorrect and it does throw an error on. One click and its gone but I will mostlikely code back. FYI |

I coded the BFD as well as the rear tails on with DRLs. As you said, I get error code for a few seconds when BFD is activated and it either goes away with one click or disappears by itself. Small price to pay and I love the F1 flash. Have it on my M5 as well.

Unless you have Euro tailights, coding brake force flash and/or tail fogs will throw an error on an U.S car. Tail light error is noticed when you slammed on your brakes, triggering brake flash.

I was under the impression if both DRL and brae force was coded it would throw a code. As long as it's working correctly them I'm fine with it. Hard to tell

DRL will work, but not tail fogs or brake force. It has to do with the physical taillights hardware, not software. If you have U.S. X5M, it will throw a code unless you physically swap out the tail lights to Euro taillights.
