Well, after three test drives,...some kicking and screaming,...a little movement here and there,....it's now official! Yours truly has his "///M Badge" with full maintenance and a warranty! M cars are just plain ridiculous!

...gotta figure out how to post a pic...

Color: Singapore Grey,....5 Speed!

...sorry for the poor cellphone image quality!

...that's my trusty Carbon Black 550i XDrive in the background! It was a good ride!

Congrats. I am happy for you. One caveat though, if this is the one from Passport I hope you have everything in writing in triplicate. Cause I just read you negotiated for 4 days but they sent me an email at 3:30 yesterday saying car was still available if I wanted to drive down. So it sounds like they tried to sell it from under you. Kinda sleazy in my opinion. In any event I wish you many fast exciting care free miles of driving enjoyment. :-)

Kind of a sleazy dealer is making one deal and then trying to sell the car underneath the guy for a few extra bucks!

Exactly. It put a sour taste in my mouth towards this dealership. The car had issues that should have been addressed before it was put up for sale. I am just glad it all worked out for the O.P.

Actually, I told them that a guy in NY was interested in the car,...also, when I came off the first test drive,....another guy was waiting to take it out. In fact, I believe there were two others interested as well. They asked if I wanted to leave a deposit after the second test drive. I declined,...told them if it sold,..it sold. Np.

Now,..not that I'd call them 'sleeze balls',...because they are in a 'for profit' business and when it comes to buying a car,...I do my homework as best I can and negotiate from an informed customer standpoint. I'm sure this is most folks strategy.

On another note, had it sold to someone else,...I'd be making plans to drive to Atlanta on the same color DCT M5. I even told them this.

I am actually looking towards a DCT here in NY. I am a 6 speed guy but I am being swayed towards the DCT by 2 exhilarating test drives, lol Plus the fact my knees are not what they used to be for all that clutch action.
