UC's "Gotta empty the garage before he can buy a new toy" sale. F10 M5 parts!
EVERYTHING MUST GO.... before I'm allowed to buy new toys, according to the wife. And to be fair, I've not had the M5 since July... Left in my garage, I have the following items, for the F10 M5 - ALL PRICES NEGOTIABLE!: A staggered set of Morr VS70 Competition wheels, wrapped in Pirelli's finest P-Zero rubber. 295/30/ZR20 at the rear, 275/35/ZR20 for the fronts. This gives no stretch. Not a scratch on these wheels, and freshly cleaned, although I'll admit there's a stubborn spot or two on the inside of some of them, that road tar remover will address with no issue. Photos of wheels:
And from Morr's website, showing my car: Asking price is 3,000 USD, plus Fedex to buyer's location from zipcode 98119. Local pickup is also available. SOLD: A non-staggered set of 4 Morr SpunForged FS77 wheels in 20x9", silver. No rubber. These were to be my winter wheels. They never made it out of the box, and I didn't want to unbox them just to take photos when the rain started to come down. Asking price: 2,000 USD, plus Fedex to buyer's location from zipcode 98119. Local pickup is also available. SOLD! SOLD!A set of IND side markers - gloss black surround with clear indicator. There's a very small amount of wax residue in the textured section, but a bit of fish-soap in hot water will remove that. Use a cloth carefully (there's still electronics in there) and it'll come right off. Asking price: 130 USD, plus Fedex to buyer's location from zipcode 98119. Local pickup is also available.SOLD! A BMW set of black exhaust tips. Needs a little cleaning up to remove a bit of road grease, but that's the worst of it. Asking price: XXX USD, plus Fedex to buyer's location from zipcode 98119. Local pickup is also available. Update: - These were apparently more dirty than I expected and it wasn't coming off with a good rub. They're being sent back to me and I've refunded the guy who bought them. I'm going to try to clean them up. In addition, at some point at least one has taken a scratch on the underside near the tip. I will look more thoroughly and assess, and then put them back up for sale with more photos and a revised price. And finally, one set of Pre-LCI front grilles with vinyl ///M stripes applied. Asking price: 50 USD, plus Fedex to buyer's location from zipcode 98119. Local pickup is also available. If you want wheels, and either exhaust tips or grilles, I'll give them to you FOR FREE. I just need this stuff out of my garage, and the wheels are the ones worth the money, so those are the ones I'm interested in selling. Priority goes to people asking to buy in the thread, so I can see what order people asked in. I'm happy to take more photos of any detail requested. Best of luck with the sale. Quality parts and the pictures (esp. the MORR ones) look phenomenal.
Best of luck getting that new toy

@Lawaia - I can, but I need to check on cost. That's likely to be the weekend.
@M5Hambre - They're glossy where they're clean. There's some road grease on them that didn't come off with my quick clean for the photos. With road tar remover I expect they'll get back to clean. |

Sorry to have to report this, but the deal on shipping I have is for mainland US only. That means that I need to be not be surprised with a bunch of work on Friday afternoon that needs to be done by Monday morning (grumble grumble), and for me to get rates from USPS rates. I'm going to try to find rates online, and reply again tomorrow afternoon.

The exhaust tips are sold to Rearview. He has already paid me, but I have not yet had the chance to ship them out.
Many inquiries about the side markers and front grilles, which are waiting on me to get quotes for shipping. Wheels are currently still up for grabs. Make me an offer! |

If I want to send things overseas, with insurance, and tracking then it looks like the shipping is at least as much as the parts. I'm going to make that offer to the people from overseas, but I'm anticipating that once the ones who have already asked for the side markers have made a decision, it looks like I'm going to restrict sale to the lower 48 states.
EDIT: I checked my message again - the first in line is actually in continental US, and has been waiting on me to send photos. I am apparently a jerk that can't read his messages in order. I will be taking photos and adding them to this thread tonight. Last edited by UniqueCheese; 03-16-2016 at 12:21 PM.. |

Pictures promised to people!
Tread depth on the 4 tires on the VS70s - rapid, but maybe not the most accurate. Measurements in are in mm. Front: Other Front, with first in the background: Rear, with fronts in background: Other rear, with the other 3 in the background: All have TPMS sensors. The 4 grilles: Right side: Left side: Front right: Front left: As you can see, they're in pretty good condition. The front left has the largest ding of both front grilles, on the third vane from the center of the car, near the top. The stripes are vinyl, and can be peeled off. |
