H&R Springs?

Hey guys,

Taking delivery of my new 2016 M4 in late April and I'm trying to get ahead of the game on best performance parts currently available on the market.

I'm looking for some advice on H&R springs... sport vs super sport. Looking for a good balance between daily driveability and a more aggressive look, leaning more towards sport springs. Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

TWM

Agree with Doctor M. Don't buy aftermarket springs on a M car, you will loss the performance. Please spend a bit more to buy a full coilover set (such as KW).....

Will just getting the kw HaS adjustment springs affect the performance?

No.

BMW's up coming sleeve over kit is based off of KW HAS and KW is manufacturing it.

Cool! Mine has the ZCP package, and I'm trying to figure out if the KW HAS is worth it... any opinions?

I would wait until you receive the car before deciding.

KW HAS is fine but you can also just wait for BMW's own sleeve kit. It is completely up to you really. ZCP is with 20", you won't have to lower it that much if you plan on sticking with 20"s

I'm also in the process of looking for springs for my M4. From what I have read, Swift R-Specs seem to be one of the most popular options on this forum. I've read mixed reviews on the H&R springs and hear the ride quality isn't great. Someone mentioned investing in a full coilover kit, I don't think that is necessary if you just daily the car around town. A full coilover kit would be overkill. If you track the car then it is a different story.

I would advise against the super sport springs. They're going to be too aggressive and the ride is going to be terrible. If you're going H&R, stick w/ the sport spring option.
