Gruppe M exhaust with fog lights
can you put the Gruppe M carbon fiber air intake in with lower fog lights?
THREAD SHOULD BE TITLED GRUPPE M INTAKE INSTEAD OF EXHAUST... TYPO

from what i have seen you could mount one in there but you would be right in the intake path...would not make much sense. Fog lights are over rated...just do the rear fog light mod!

I'm confused by this post...
Exhausts don't suck... suck in that is. I'm guessing he means intake.

i installed the GruppeM Cold Air Intake and from what i can see, there is space for a fog light. when installing the CAI, you have to undo the front left wheel arch "shield" (don't know the exact term for it) as well as 2 to 3 screws that hold the bumper and stock intake to the frame at the underside of the upper portion of the front air scoop. the front scoop intake from GruppeM is made from CF and by itself, I do not think it can hold the weight of the fog light. however, the frame where the screws are located could probably support the installation of the fog lights. but as MTrizzy said, it would obstruct air flow into this intake (even though there are two other intake points) and this would not be a good thing i suppose... cheers Last edited by edlms; 05-05-2008 at 02:45 PM.. |
