I am about to place my order for a new '09 Yamaha YZF R6. I can't decide which color to go with. Let me know what you think.

I know man. I am torn between all the colors, it was easy to choose the bike, now is hard to decide on the color. They all have something cool about them. My wife likes the white one. She is still trying to convince me to get the Ducati 848, but that's a lot of $$$ and I still need wheels for my car too. LOL.

The white has always been an option in Japan and Europe, but never in US. I am in Germany, but I am buying a US specs bike. I have only seen one R1 with the white/red color combination in Germany. You are right, not too many people owns a white bike.

I think this is the most difficult decision I have ever been faced with. It was easy to choose a house, easy to choose a car, easy to choose the bike and now I can't make up my mind with the color. Still between the black and the white. Given that all my gear is white and blue but I don't really think the gear has to match the bike. Here are a couple of pics of my protective gear.

I still say white. I think it'll look sweet with your gear.

And you're guaranteed to be one of the only, if not the only white R6 in your area.
