MPE (Titanium + Carbon) Tip adjustment

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone had experience making some adjustment on MPE tips (one comes with Carbon as well) to make it to poke out little further.

I will be purchasing more aggressive diffuser and also wish to adjust the tips to match the aggressiveness.

Thanks in advance.

They have set screws and you can loosen them and advance the tips out a bit. Quite a bit of adjustability.

I believe you are talking about three screws per a tip? I see one on the top and top on the left and right bottom.

No, those are the rivets that hold on the CF shell. This is the set screw you adjust:

So just the one that sits on the top part if the tips?

My tips are titanium's and only have one hex set screw each on the bottoms (ground side). Loosen that and it will slide...if they've been on a while they may be stuck so a towel and a rubber mallet may be in order to "encourage" them to move. I don't have the carbon fiber tips so perhaps they have more screws to hold the carbon fiber sleeve on but i would imagine they too only have one set screw to hold them to the exhaust.

I had my tips poke out a bit and it burnt the hell outta my leg. Be careful when taking out stuff from the trunk.
