Help! Battery died Now Warning Lights car won't go into gear.

Hey guys my battery died, and I just got a jump start. The car starts up now, but it won't go into drive reverse or anything all these random rolling warnings lights come on. Car is stuck in a parking lot so I was hoping for a quick fix.

2016 BMW M6 F06

Under Check Control, it says
Check
- Transmission malfunction
- Brake System. Condin Drive possible
Chassis stabilization: Drive Moderately
Collision warning system inactive
Pedestrian warning malfunction

Any help please! Do I need to reset these codes to get the car moved?

I’d say definitely try resetting your codes or change the battery completely, it’s clear if it doesn’t go away with code clear, the battery is having issues

Hi mate
I just seen your post with your car battery and jump start. car not going into gear and no reading the gear at all. I do have the same problem now. I have tried to do a soft close boot retrofit, battery died and now does not go into gear same as you said.
Wanted to ask if you found a solution or how can I solve this?

Make sure you trickle-charge regularly like from a CTEK to stop battery dropping charge, especially if car is not used regularly. Try disconnecting battery at the _ for 10 minutes then back up again or better still charge while disconnected until green light appears on the charger then connect up again, if green light full charge light doesn't come on for ages then your battery is probably U/S.
