Driving Cross Country?
Need some help
Im currently in Fort Lauderdale FL but will be heading to Portland OR for a few months. Thinking if I should drive my 2014 f10 with 86k miles or get it shipped. Has anyone done the drive? what should I expect to pay close to in fuel? Also if anyone has had their car shipped what's a reasonable price per mile? It's a total of 3240 miles so that's not bad I would say like $500-$600 in fuel at that rate. My car isn't tuned so I can imagine that means I would burn less fuel.

I drove from MD to California last summer during the height of the gas crisis with everything I owned in my E46 M3. It was a great trip, I recommend taking 4-7 days and stopping to sightsee along the way. We did it in 3 days, the first two were great but the last day (18+ hours in my small coupe) was brutal.
