Bm3 stage 2 ngk gap

Going to be installing catless downpipes, new coils and ngk 97506 plugs this morning. I’ll also be uploading a bm3 stage 2 93 tune. What is the consensus on plug gap? I’ve read a lot of people going down to .022. I’ve also read some have idle issues running that gap. Any recommendations? I was thinking .024-.026. Thank you.

Thanks. embarrassing as it is I am sending the downpipes back. I was shocked to find that the car already had some installed. Don’t know that brand. Also saw the car had a bms trans oil pan. So the car had some mods done. I went ahead and uploaded the stage 2 93 agg tune. Can does feel quicker but not a really huge difference. My assumption is it had at least a stage 1 already. Issue now is traction. With 305/30 pilot sport 4 s it will spin in every gear except 5-7. What tires are you guys running? I had Toyo r888’s on my Vette that were ok but the whine noise they made was atrocious. Also haven’t changed the plugs yet. Car had Bosch gapped at .028. I may start on that tonight. Thanks

You won't know about the gap until you get in it hard and the boost blows out the spark. When I first went to stage 2 tune, at about 6000 rpm it would stutter.
When I regapped to 022 it stopped doing that.

I use Michelin Pilot Sport in the same size as you do. For more grip I considered Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R. But they aren't as good in wet conditions as 4S.

Toyo Proxes I'd never choose on an F10 M5 because over-all they are by far not as good as Pilot Sport 4S.
