Running rich at idle. Stalling.

2013 M5

215,000 MILES (yes, that many)

Codes: 118402, 118021, 118011, 11CF30 (too rich large deviation, mixture control oxygen sensor adaptation due to rough running bank 1, cross bank fuel air too rich, mixture control multiple fault)

The issue: Has slowly (and I mean slowly) gotten worse over many dozens of thousands of miles. Will accelerate beautifully, not down on power at all. At idle, it will randomly die, stall when taking off, etc. Driving it hard would seemingly fix the idle issues for a bit. Cold start is fine. It’s when the car is hot and idling it’s an issue. Driving the car like a granny is certain doom and it will die.

Bm3 stage 1 tune since 90k miles

Troubleshooting: changed mafs, O2 sensors, injectors replaced and coded. Resetting the learned adaptations is detrimental because it has to pull so much fuel. It sits around .7 ltft. If the car is cold and/or it’s very cold outside, issues subside. Cruising is perfectly fine.

Any help is helpful to my mental health here. Lol

My guess is it may need a de-coke if the engine has never been split. Some time back I saw pics from a chap called DJ something and his M5 f10 motor was being split open and the intakes around the inlet valves looked like something evil before being cleaned out. If I find it I'll bring it up.

maybe from the map sensor, replace both map sensors on charge coolers and check, another two map sensor will be on manifold, hard to replace.

Update: I have replaced 1 of the HPFP and the issue seems to be fixed now. Will monitor and possibly replace the other one soon. No codes have come back also.

Sorry to bring this up as I have similar issue how often did your engine shut off and does your car struggle then stall or just cut off?

My engine shut off warm unable to start until cold it was damaged flywheel replaced that after 1000km engine shut off again have pretty much same issue as yours but mine will shut off every minute and if I can take off and loop around for a minute it holds but died again soon after I come back car was also running rich during the 1k km 118011 118111 also are you still on original engine?
