Air filters

Keep an eye out for replacing your air filters, just ordered a replacement set for mine as around 18k has passed and some 5-6 years. These can bung up with dirt much quicker than lesser motors with the more powerful suction into the engine. Yikes! should really be done every 2-3 years as there is a time service limit also.

All changed and not before time as the old filters were well gone. It's a slightly fiddly job being careful not to lose the screws (if you do you'll never find it and could be an issue when driving, for instance dropping on road and puncturing a tire) and lifting the filter housing slightly to get to that difficult one screw but nothing that hard and it helps if you did it before.

If you start getting a CEL from time to time for no reason it may be attributed to dirty and too old air filters so good idea to get them changed.
