Are Shell having a laugh...

Shell V Power uld is 1.69.9 a litre with Momentum 99 uld at 142.9 a litre, so if you filled your tank with a full 80 litres of V Power then it would cost nearly £22 more than the M 99.
* and that's with their Shell 95 normal uld at 1.37.9. So 32p a litre more?? the greedy shells are taking the pe pe.

Similar pricing in Norfolk. Pi55 takers.

Big time! I avoid shell now. Started using Costco (1.28.9 p/l) as their diesel is good for the other car (no dpf lights).

I found this one just inside Hampshire, a more reasonable 147.7, so the closer you get to London from the SW it gets higher.

Been using V-Power now from the above station and noticed I'm travelling further miles than with when I was using Momentum, the fuel gauge seemingly coming down slower.
Thoughts?

Is it the splitter that's giving me the extra gas mileage on the motorway? The splitter and the V-Power combined seem to be doing a power of good so far .

I have a Shell down the road and Tesco about 15 minutes away from me, Tesco has been about 10-15p cheaper since covid times, I only visit shell when I'm in the middle of nowhere as I wouldn't trust other stations.

Interestingly enough there was some guy on youtube who did petrol analysis and they proved that tesco momentum is the best of all, although cheaper most times

^ Nearly running on fumes filled up with 76 litres of Shell VP at my favourite fuel stop and it came to a hefty £111 (£1.50 a litre)
I use M99 when I won't make it to Shell it being nearer.

Going back to M99 as I've had 2 CEL's with no codes using V-power, I think too many detergents in the Shell fuel and so far running great on Momentum with two shots of redex added also every time in the 80 litre tank at fill up to keep those injectors primed good.
