I'm a noob!

Hey everyone. Guess its time to make a formal introduction. You'll have to bear with me, as I'm coming off of a very strong AudiWorld addiction.

My 01 S4 was stolen and totalled in June. I searched high and low (and by that I mean price) for a replacement car that met what I needed/wanted.

In the end, it came down to 2 cars out of the entire Audi and BMW lineup...

The Rs4 and 135, its not so much that I wanted to spend the bank on the Rs4, but I REALLY wanted something that would be as "fun" to drive and/or mod as my S4 was.

I've made my decision (which was easy after driving both and looking at the price tags) and am happy to be ordering a 135 in a week or so.

It will be nice to change camps, maybe do Euro Delivery and learn about a whole new car. I'm not a stranger to BMW's but I never had one to call my own before... so here goes.

I'm in NJ (Warren) if anyone ever decides to do a drive, I'm down. But I might bring some audi friends with me ....

Welcome Lou - you'll find that a lot of folks here came from outside the bimmer world.

I drove the A5 a few times at Paul Miller Audi, I liked it, but it did not have nearly the soul that the 135 has. I guess I'm just a sucker for twin turbos with thick steering wheels and great suspension feel.

Haven't even driven the car in manual (can't find one to test drive) - And I can't wait!!

They were 3rd gear 60 or 80mph rolls
