C6 Corvette vs 335i
Alright well lease is up in 3 more months and ive gone over about 15 cars and ive ended up deciding im either going to just buy my 335i and mod it like crazy. Or buy a C6 Vette and do some mods to it. I don't need more then 2 seats. Vette gets pretty good Fuel Economy as does the 335i . Both have tremendous potential and both are very close in price. So what do you guys think?

Corvette, especially if you don't need two seats. It already has more power to begin with.

Performance wise, it's not even a contest. The new LS3 C6 would annihilate even an E9x M3, track or drag strip. Some headers, exhaust, or even a full blown SC, and you'd be competing with the Ferrari F430 easily.
If you don't need the 2 extra seats, the C6.

C6 LS2 w/tune + headers vs E92 M3 with exhaust. It literally makes the M3 look like a Civic.
Another C6 LS2 walking an M3 E92: It's hilarious I was at a Superbowl party, and this Army guy kept arguing how his M3 could beat a Vette "any day of the weak." Man, the power of one justifying his own purchase.

well, from a performance perspective the 335i would need pretty much every mod available to run along side a stock c6. Mod that C6 at all and the 3 has no chance...
decision is pretty obvious to me! |

If you don't need the extra seats, then the decision is easy. A pure sports car is always better than a sporty sedan if you don't need the compromises the sedan affords you.

Unless you have a mullet...I would stick with the BMW. The view of vette' owners is slowly getting better, but it is still very bad.
The deals on the corvettes are ridiculous right now as nobody is buying them... |

Even though there a Z06's out there that i could steal right now , it's out of my price range and im just not willing to spend that much more money. And as for ^ that comment. I really don't care what CERTAIN people think of my Persona.

So what are you more interested in, performance or comfort? The vette trumps the 3 in performance, but the 3 will be more livable. If you want something that's a bit of both, look into a pre-owned M3.

^This was actually my main concern. I knew C6 would obviously win performance department but do i want a quiet refined coupe that also performs pretty well when needed. Love M3's but i wouldn't get e46 just because im not looking to get a car that's that old, and new 1s are still to pricey.

wow. with some bolt-on's, it will be faster than an m3, but that goes for many cars out there. m3 isn't a drag racing power house. but on the other side of things, you buy a vette, you're getting a fiberglass bath tub with a huge engine and a crappy interior. what sounds more civicy to you? not to mention that i'll roast a non-Z06 vette in the corners every single time.
to the OP - my vote is for the vette, too, if all you want is a fast 2 seater. if you want some luxury too, 335 is the best choice. |

Go to a Chevy dealership and actually sit inside of a C6 LS2 or LS3. All these comments about a "crap" interior are serious garbage. I have an E92 with the best interior options available, and it's not more luxurious than a C6 despite what the fanboys are misleading you to believe.
