Attendees at the M Driving Experience at the Salzburg Ring were lucky enough to witness in person two of BMW M's newest creations - the BMW F10 M5 and the limited edition lightweight M3 CRT.

Both of these cars were revealed to the public for the first time at BMW M Night event at the M Festival during the 24 Hours Nurburgring race. Live event photos can be found here and here.

A Bimmertoday reader was able to snag these photos and some startup videos. The new M5 seen here is painted in a unique Individual Champagne Quartz Metallic color.

The brakes on the M5 aren't painted blue? I thought that was standard.

Funny how the CRT doesn't have a carbon roof, that could've saved even more weight?

Anyone notice the complete non-existence of orange peel on the paint of these two? Hopefully they've improved their paint process.

I see it on the M5. The M3 is matte, so that may be why it looks like it has no orange peel.

Those M3 seats are worth ANY amount! I thought the F10 was supposed to have the blue calipers too... :/

Talk about a discerning eye! I just looked at the picture and believe you're right!

On a separate note, I think the exhaust sounds okay but I can't really make a decision until I hear one driving away at full throttle.

That M5 has the "proper" grey color, not too dark and not too light

Probably not if they don't have side airbags like the BMW Performance seats we also don't get in the US.
