xDrive M5?
I realize this question will ellicit a lot of negative comments, but any news on when the xDrive version will be available? It was discussed a few months ago, but nothing further.

An x drive version would be very interesting - ESP since the panamera turbo is awd and gets sub-4.0 times to 60 mph and lapped the nurburgring at 7:56 (only the 500hp version). However - also wonder how well the new active rear diff on rwd f10 m5 will allow for near max throttle to be applied at start or very low speeds...

As an update - saw you tube video of, I believe, Kay Siegler or someone else from M division at shanghai auto show who was asked point-blank about x drive version of F10 M5 - he basically said no for two reasons: 1) new active rear diff so effective really no new for awd; and 2) extra weight. The E9x "passive" rear diff already gives great traction - so if new active diff is truly even better - it is understandable that improvement in traction with x drive would be slight at best - and any such slight improvement would be negatively offset by extra weight (both in terms of longitudinal and lateral acceleration)...
