My 12' 135's 2nd night out at the 1/4 mi!

78 degrees and humid, 12.7 @109.9

2012 135i 6mt. Jb4, dp, Afe intake, cdv. 100 octane and map7. Limiting boost def helped in 1 and 2 gear. I pulled a 1.9 on run flats!

Below is a video of me running a CTS-V auto. He went 12.8, @104

Enjoy!

Nice run, but are you sure that was a CTSV instead of a regular CTS? A CTSV would have no problem trapping over 117mph unless something was extremely wrong with the car.

For sure a "V" He said he consistently runs 12.8. Not sure why trap is that low, however.

Why did you limit 2nd gear boost? Thought by 2nd gear at a track, traction should be no problem.

Yes his et sucked but didn't matter. Seriously it was soo freakin humid I'm sure I could've done better on a cold night. Everyone was running slower than expected.

I launched around 2900 rpm traction OFF and reduced psi in RFT's to 30

I've been playing with boost red. I'm using 11 in 1st and 13.5 in second. I found that map 7, 2nd gear was hitting 16 or so psi and spinning badly esp hitting 2nd hard. Btw, LOVE big fix at 100! Listen to 2nd gear shift, little to no delay between shifts!

So you're running the "aFe Stage 2 CAI?" How do you like it for the N55? I was thinking about the dual filter CAI for the N54, heard they were good stuff.

BTW, nice run, very impressive.

Jealous man, I tried running mine this last saturday at the track, couldn't launch worth poo, it was 50 degrees outside and i didn't air down my Conti DWS tires. It wouldn't hook at all, the only run I did any good it finally hooked in 3rd gear and I trapped 104mph. LOL
Nice runs man.

I think that might have been the previous gen CTS-V. The 04-07 with either the 5.7l or 6.0l non S/C engine. I didn't hear a whine and that trap seems right around what that car would do. Did it have a bulge in the hood? If not, then it was an 04-07. It's real easy to tell the difference between the 04-07 CTS-V to the current 09+ version by just looking at it.

But thats a good time on run-flats, especially the '60 time. I can't wait to see how I do when get back in July.

Vigilante, although I agree with those times being right on for a 1st gen cts-V, this was no doubt a 09+. Not only did it appear to be a late cts-V by it's bulging hood, yellow large calipers, stitched dash but that it was an automatic.
Thanks for the congrats on the launch. Every other 60 ft I had for the night was 2.0, 2.1

Very nice, I owned a CTS-V and that was a 2009+ and due to weight and limited tire width , it is very difficult to launch the V, but its a great roll racing car.
I am looking for 135i and that video makes me more eager to buy and mod one.

I am new to BMW mods, how much $ was your setup.

Yes, from a roll I think he would've taken me unless I was running methanol.

My 135i was around $45k (add $450 for DCT trans) I installed JB stage 2 $579, and a BMS downpipe $369. Other than my intake which doesn't seem to help much that's it!

Ok, I couldn't tell from the video so I was just taking a guess especially because of the trap. The video wasn't the best for analyzing. It must have been his first time at track. A win is a win, right? I thought the first gen V was both auto and manual? Guess I need to research that.

I was saying add $450 for DCT, mine however is not. Although sometimes I wish it was.. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/image...es/mad0260.gif

Although now that I did cdv, short throw stop and bogfix, it's hard to complain.
