I have a tial on my car. I love it. My friend has the synapse and it's much louder.

DCT is only available on N55 engines. Did you mean you have a steptronic?

I think the synapse sounds fine, mines not that loud, just doesn't seem like its made with the same quality as tial. I haven't had any issues with mine yet, but I've talked to a lot of people who have had problems. Tial is a very high quality BOV, you know exactly what you are getting.

The difference in sound comes from the difference in size of the "blow off hole" for lack of a technical term. The tial has a massive opening where the synapse is smaller. The tial sounds much less again for lack of a better term "JDM" than the synapse and especially the HKS

So basically the majority is persuading me to go with Tial, because its a better quality and sounds less ricey haha

i don't think the Synapse sounds ricey! The TKS one does, but not the others! It really comes down to what you like. Check youtube and hear the differences and make a choice on what you like.
