Midpipes or downpipes?

Hey guys,
So im not sure if I should do midpipes or downpipes first? I have a catback on now and want to buy another section but I'm not sure what will give me more power? Any thoughts?

If you have a catback exhaust on now.. then you should already have midpipes...?? Or did you mean axleback?

If you meant axleback, downpipes will give you plenty of more gains than midpipes would, but catless are obviously illegal on the street, and catted are expensive. Those are the only drawbacks, the price to pay for more power

Sorry, yes I have an axelback not catback. I kinda figured that the downpipes would give me more power. Any suggestions on a company? I want something that is going to fit just like an oem would.

look at the macht schnells the piping gets smaller right before it conneects to the mids. Id go with AR design. Only heard good things about them and they sounds great!

As others have posted, downpipes for power and sound.

However, if you want to stay smog legal and just increase sound and stay slightly outside your warranty then mids are the way to go.

I recommend AR... But get mid pipes too. Do it in one shot!
